FENS Forum 2022: extended early registration, abstract submission and FENS/IBRO-PERC travel grants

You have an extra week to register earlysubmit your abstract and apply for a FENS/IBRO-PERC travel grant. The deadline has been extended until 1 March 2022, allowing you more time to enjoy early rates! Don’t forget to check the FENS Regional Social Media travel grant open until 3 March and the Young Investigator Training Programme (YITP) that closes on 1 March


ELECTRAIN 2022: FENS and IBRO-PERC stipends
2 – 13 May 2022, Göttingen, Germany
Application deadline: 15 March 2022 
FENS and IBRO-PERC provide four stipends of up to EUR 750 for master and PhD students interested in attending the Extended Methods course in Electrophysiology, ELECTRAIN 2022. Through these stipends FENS and IBRO-PERC aim to encourage and promote international experience for students. 


ENCODS 2022: a conference by and for PhD Students 
07–08 July 2022, Paris, France 
Extended registration deadline: 28 February 2022 

Extended registration to attend the European Neuroscience Conference by Doctoral Students (ENCODS) closes on 28 February 2022! ENCODS 2022 aims to emphasise the different levels, as well as the different spatial and temporal scales, that are being studied within neuroscience and will take place prior to the FENS Forum 2022. Don’t miss this opportunity! 


FENS video contest: Share your neuroscience skills
Submission deadline: 20 April 2022

We invite researchers to create short videos explaining their skills to non-experts! All you have to do is to choose your best neuroscience skill(s), make a 2–5-minute video and submit it before 20 April 2022. The best short videos will be featured on the FENS YouTube Channel and shown during the FENS Forum 2022.


Travel grants available: Chinese Neuroscience Society Meeting 

15 – 18 September 2022, Suzhou, China
Application deadline: 8 April 2022  

FENS offers several travel grants of up to EUR 1,400 each to young investigators, PhD and MSc students interested in attending the 15th Annual Meeting of the Chinese  Neuroscience Society. Start your application!


NENS Exchange Grants

Are you eager to spend three months at a different European laboratory learning new methodological techniques? NENS offers exchange grants of up to EUR 3,000 to cover travel and accommodation costs to attend a NENS graduate school. Start applying!

FENS Regional Social Media Ambassador Grants

Are you a neuroscientist from a region underrepresented in science? The FENS Communication Committee is offering four travel grants of up to EUR 1,000 and waived registrations for four Regional Social Media Ambassadors to attend the FENS Forum 2022. These grants aim to help neuroscientists based in underrepresented regions of the world to attend the Forum in Paris. Start your application
