Poštovani članovi društva,

Molimo sve koji će učestvovati sa posterom na FENS Forumu da nas obaveste što pre kako bi vas prof. Anđus predložio za NENS nagradu.

Good morning,

This is a gentle reminder of the upcoming deadline of 27 April for nominating 1 or 2 of your students for the Best Poster Awards 2022 (for reference, detailed information and the associated form are listed below).

Best regards,

Dear NENS School programme coordinator/director, Dear colleague,

We are pleased to announce the third edition of the Best Poster Awards competition initiated by FENS Committee on Higher Education and Training (CHET) four years ago, and dedicated to master and PhD students who are enrolled in a NENS school programme.

To support excellence and boost a friendly competition among students registered with NENS, we organise a contest in which the best two posters (one for a MSc student and one for a PhD student) will be awarded, and officially announced at the FENS Forum 2022 (9-13 July, Paris).

To do so, we kindly ask you to consider the best two posters of your students (i.e.: organise an internal competition etc.) and nominate maximum 2 posters (1 MSc, 1 PhD).

Best Poster Awards Procedure:

Each NENS programme coordinator/director can nominate and submit maximum 2 electronic posters with the accompanying abstract of their selected PhD and/or MSc student(s) via the online application form available here.

The online application for you to submit the electronic posters will run

from now/7 December to 27 April 2022

The best 10 posters selected by the CHET Committee will be announced by 10 May.

The 10 preselected students (NENS PhD or/and MSc student):

–          should be the first author of the submitted poster;

–          will benefit of waived registration to attend the FENS Forum 2022;

–       will present their posters at the FENS Forum 2022 (i.e.: Training and Career space *). The 10 posters will be exhibited throughout the Forum and visited by the Evaluation Committee members.

The Best Poster Awards:

–        Prize amount: 1.000 EUR/awardee, FENS/NENS certificate

–     One winner in each category (MSc, PhD) will be officially announced following the NENS Graduate School Fair* (date to be announced, FENS Forum 2022).

Please support this initiative by nominating your best students’ work!

*Each NENS Programme will have the possibility to present and advertise his/her school programme throughout the Forum (further information on the NENS Graduate School Fair will be provided in January 2022).

Sincerely,

Áine Kelly and Geert Ramakers
