Dear Participants,
Please find below the essential venue, registration, and organizational details for the IX Congress of the Serbian Neuroscience Society.
1. Venue and Registration
- October 6 – Opening ceremony at the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, followed by the opening plenary lecture and cocktail reception.
- October 7–8 – All scientific sessions will be held at the Palace of Science (4th floor).
Registration:
- October 6, 16:00–16:45 (Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts)
- October 7–8, throughout the day (Palace of Science)
2. Coffee and Lunch Breaks
All registered participants and lecturers will receive:
- Two coffee coupons per day (valid for October 7–8)
- 1 coupon = 1 drink (up to 350 RSD). If the price is lower, the remainder cannot be used.
- One lunch coupon per day (valid for October 7–8)
- Value: 600 RSD. If the chosen meal exceeds this amount, the participant covers the difference.
Coupons can be used at the restaurant on the 5th floor of the Palace of Science.
3. Information for Plenary, Symposium, and Oral Presentations
- Venue (Palace of Science):
- Plenary and symposium lectures – Conference Room HORIZON
- Short oral presentations – Conference Room HORIZON and Conference Room WORD
- Technical information:
All necessary equipment will be provided (microphone and pointers). Presenters may bring their own laptops, USB drives with presentations, or access their files via email. For smoother and more efficient delivery, we kindly advise that you have your presentation prepared on a USB drive. - Presentation formats:
- Plenary lectures: 45 minutes + up to 15 minutes discussion
- Symposium lectures: 20 minutes + up to 5 minutes discussion
- Oral pitch presentations: 3–4 minutes + 1 question
· Please note that entering the Conference rooms with food or drink is prohibited
4. Digital Poster Platform and Oral Pitch Presentations
- Presenters are divided into sessions across October 7 and 8. A daily schedule indicating the allocation of presenters to conference rooms will be displayed on-site.

- View posters and author information
- Download posters for later contact
- Check poster details and prepare questions
- Each registered participant with a submitted digital poster will receive a unique QR code on their accreditation badge. Scanning the code will directly open the participant’s poster, helping to foster communication and discussion.
If you have not yet submitted your digital poster, please make sure to do so no later than Sunday, October 5, by 3:00 PM using this ***LINK***, so we can include them in the digital showcase.
5. Registration Fees and Book of Abstracts
We kindly remind all participants who have not yet completed the payment of the congress registration fee (either personally or through their institutions) to do so as soon as possible.
For individuals who are not registered but wish to attend lectures or sessions as passive participants, a daily access fee of 2000 RSD per day can be paid (for the instructions please contact dns@ibiss.bg.ac.rs).
The final Book of Abstracts will be published no later than November 10, and it will be registered in the national library with an official ISBN number. Please note that only participants who have paid the registration fee will be included in the final Book of Abstracts.
All participants and speakers will receive digital certificates of attendance or presentation, no later than 10th of November 2025.
6. Annual General Meeting of the Serbian Neuroscience Society
All active members of the Serbian Neuroscience Society are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting, which will be held on October 8, from 18:45 to 20:00.
During the meeting, the adoption of the new statute will be discussed, previous activities of the Society will be presented, and future plans will be outlined. The President of the Society will circulate a proposed agenda in advance.
We kindly encourage all members to attend in large numbers and actively participate in shaping the future work of the Society.
