Dear Selma Kanazir We are excited to invite you to participate in a survey aimed at advancing training and mentoring opportunities for Early Career Principal Investigators (PIs). As part of the FENS-Kavli Network of Excellence (FKNE), one of our key missions is to support the career development, leadership, and well-being of early career PIs. Why Your Input Matters: This survey will help us:Identify the most beneficial training activities and highlight where gaps currently exist.Understand any barriers that may prevent access to these training opportunities.Design tailored and affordable training programmes in collaboration with FENS and national neuroscience societies, ensuring they align with your preferences. Survey Details: The survey is anonymous, and participants will not be traced. Demographic questions are optional. Collected data will inform future training activities and may be shared with national neuroscience societies and the broader research community through white papers, newsletters, or editorials. Your insights will play a crucial role in shaping resources to enhance research leadership, scientific discovery, and well-being for PIs. The submissions to the survey will be assessed within February 2025.Should you know other PIs, we would greatly appreciate it if you could share the survey with them and encourage them to fill it out as well. Thank you for contributing to this initiative.
